New Opportunity for Student Volunteers!

We’re excited to share a brand new way to earn community involvement hours. Students can now receive an additional 2 volunteer hours by sending us a short video clip about their experience with Project Tight Knit.

Your clip doesn’t need to be long or formal. Just tell us what volunteering has been like for you, what you’ve enjoyed, or what it has meant in your life. Once you submit your video, our team will review it and add the extra hours to your total.

We can’t wait to hear your stories and highlight the amazing work our volunteers do every day.

Project Tight Knit is now at Memorial University!

We’re so excited to launch this new chapter and bring our mission to campus. Project Tight Knit connects volunteers with seniors in long-term care through heartfelt handwritten letters, helping to brighten someone’s day and reduce feelings of loneliness.

If you’d like to get involved, you can join our on-campus letter-writing events or write letters from home by following the simple steps on our website. Every letter makes a real difference, and we’re so happy to welcome Memorial students into our community of kindness.

Love Has No Language Barriers!

We are so excited to share that you can now write letters in the language closest to your heart! Alongside English, we welcome letters in French, Punjabi, Turkish, and Farsi.

Our goal is to make Project Tight Knit even more inclusive, so more seniors can receive messages of love and kindness in the languages that speak to them most.
