Volunteering with Project Tight Knit

We’re happy to welcome students who want to volunteer with us and earn community involvement hours.

Before you begin, we strongly recommend checking with your school’s guidance counsellor to confirm that they accept hours from Project Tight Knit. We’re a local service group rather than a registered charity or non-profit, so approval varies by school.

How Hours Are Earned

For every three completed letters, you receive one volunteer hour.
Each letter should be at least 3/4 of a page.

New Opportunity: You can now earn an additional 2 volunteer hours by submitting a short video sharing what your PTK experience has been like. This is completely optional, but very appreciated.

Tracking Your Hours

You are responsible for keeping track of your own hours. Once you’ve completed your volunteering, send us your community service forms. We’ll sign and scan them back to you as soon as we can to confirm your contribution.
