Project Tight Knit first began during the COVID19 pandemic when isolation in nursing homes was at its peak and many residents went long stretches without visits or connection. What started as a small effort to send letters of comfort has grown into an ongoing partnership with multiple nursing homes and long-term care residences. Each home that has welcomed us over the years has helped shape who we are today. Their openness has allowed our volunteers to share kindness, conversation, and support with residents who deserve to feel remembered and valued. We’re grateful for every partnership that has helped this project grow and for the communities that continue to trust us with something so meaningful.
